CONVEYANCING BOOST FOR LAW FIRM October 2007
One of Nottinghamshire's oldest law firms has strengthened its conveyancing team with the appointment of a conveyancing assistant.
West Bridgford-based Robert Barber Solicitors has appointed Val Dawson from West Bridgford to the conveyancing team to help manage its increasing portfolio of clients.
Val will manage the non client-facing conveyancing work such as speaking to clients and estate agents, exchanging contracts and organising the administration working alongside conveyancing solicitor Maria Armstrong-Langley, who manages the client-facing work.
Prior to joining Robert Barber, Val worked at French and Co where she gained significant conveyancing experience, which she is hoping will help her in her new role. Val said: "I like working in a small but focused team. It means I can really get to grips with what the client needs and be really instrumental in helping them achieve that."
Founded almost 150 years ago, Robert Barber Solicitors has three partners who specialise in a range of legal services including family law, personal injury claims, civil litigation, probate and wills, employment law, conveyancing, personal administration and leases and business transfers.
